Can You Cure A Phobia?
People say the only way to cure a phobia is to slowly face the fear behind them. Don’t be overwhelmed when you read this. It’s only natural that we’d want to be free of the chains our phobia’s imprisoned us in. You question if it’s possible. Can you cure a phobia? So with that in mind, you take a deep breath, and begin.
More than half the population suffers from some kind of phobia. It’s more difficult to notice it in yourself if you aren’t aware of it’s presences. Don’t let it take over, nothing should ever stand in our way that can be controlled.
Fear can stop us from accomplishing many things in our lives, it can destroy our minds. Forcing unwanted problems onto us and possibly hurting those closest to us. We strive to make sure that no one has to suffer, even if we do. But that shouldn’t be the case, stop it before it’s too late. Catch your phobia’s by it’s arm and show them to the door.
The easiest way to stop our phobia’s dead in their tracks is to begin writing a list of everything is causes us to do, including things we can’t do because of it. The list below shows an example of how it should be.
1: When did I first notice I had a phobia?
2: Why is it there and did something in my life trigger it?
3: Could it possibly be hurting the people in my life and myself?
4: Reasons behind wanting to remove the phobia from your life.
6: Could my phobia be hurting the people I love physically?
Answering these questions the best you can by how you believe it’s affecting you, and start a plan to exorcise each step accordingly. Once you can pinpoint your reasons behind the phobia, you’ll finally be able to reach where you need to be.
From the inside we let fear consume us into believing that there is no other way but what it makes us feel. Enjoying all that life has to offer us, we should work hard to remove the restraints that hold us back. Once the phobias are gone, not only will we be happier and more active, but we’ll be able to do the things the phobia couldn’t allow us to before. Isn’t that what we wanted? To be free of them?
When the time comes and you’re there to face your fears with arms wide open. Don’t get discouraged, swallow back whatever binds you and step forward. The only thing that can stand in your way is the things you place there yourself.
Be strong. I’ve been cured of many phobia’s, and so can you. With a little time, effort, and acceptance. You will finally be free of all that binds you.
